These are the trends that made it onto the Emmys red carpet.
Red Shades. When it comes to color, red sizzled most on the red carpet courtesy of Regina King, Julianne Hough, Priyanka Chopra and Roma Downey.
Plunging Necklines - This red carpet mainstay was the trend of choice for Tina Fey, Hannah Murray, Alicia Quarles, Kristen Bell and Abigail Spencer.
Strapless Gowns - Whilst plunging necklines populated the red carpet, strapless gowns along with sweetheart necklines showcased shoulders for celebrities like Neve Campbell, Niecy Nash, Jane Karawski and Kaitlin Doubleday.
Jewel Tones - Emily Ratajkowski, Katharyn Hahn, Laverne Cox and Connie Britton broke away from the red sea of color by debuting jewel tone shades to the Emmys red carpet.
Sheer Black - Lace is a trend tested by time that never goes out of style and so does black. When the dark color meets lace it is a match made in heaven as seen on Kirsten Dunst, Sophie Turner, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Carly Chaiken.
Thigh Slits - If it isn't cleavage on display, it is miles and miles of leg and the emmys red carpet saw a lot of leg from Taraji P. Henson, Emmy Rossum, Aimee Teegarden and Allison Janey.
